Completed in February 2010 as part of the RPM Challenge (tl;dr write and record an album in a month), Counterfeit Goods is a product of… well, not my imagination, really, more the imaginations of 10 artists that I decided to mercilessly rip off for fame and profit. These are not covers, alas, they are homages, tributes, and in some cases, parodies. This album was my first foray into basslines, drums, and real production. Stricken by an illness at the beginning of February, I was set back a few days from what I had planned so the last couple of tracks overran into March.
This album is completely free because I love you.
Also I don’t want to get sued.
